There are three verses that come to my mind when I think about what the Bible says to do in times of Satan’s attacks on your life.

Understand this, you do not have to do anything in order to be attacked by the Devil.  That’s his job .  See the book of Job,  the Bible describes him in this way.  “…Job 1:1 (KJV)
1  There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. Job did not do anything to bring on the attack of the Devil, but he was attacked.  So, we have established that you don’t have to do anything wrong in order to have an attack on you from the Devil.

So what do you do when the Devil attacks you?  My first Scripture is: Isaiah 59:19 (KJV) 19  So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.  The word standard is a military term, referring to defense as well as attack.  So, stay close to God and trust His Word.  God’s standard is Jesus Christ.  The people, the Prophet spoke these words to were the Nation of Israel, and in verses 20 and 21 He tells us He will do five things;

  1. He will come to Zion. V. 20. He will come to you where you are.
  2. He will come to them that turn from sin. V. 20. We too must turn from any and all sin.
  3. He will make a new covenant with them in that day.  V. 21. Referring to the New Testament.
  4. He will pour out the Holy Spirit on them. V. 21. When we do the above he will do this.
  5. He will put the words of God in their mouths. V. 21 He will also give us what to say.

The Second Verse the Lord brings to my mind when the Evil One attacks is: Luke 6:48 (KJV)
48  He is like a man which built a house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”

The Rock is Jesus, be sure your house is built on Him.

The third verse is James 4:7 (KJV)

7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
